i have never cried for a long long while. maybe more than 2-3 years? and i cried just now. nah, nobody died. no animal died. i cried because of a pencil. yes, a $11 pencil that i owned for only a day. it’s spoiled, and worse still not spoiled by myself. i’m not crying coz it’s expensive.
if you know me well enough, i dont place $ infront of everything else.
i cried coz i knew how much i thought about it before i eventually bought it yesterday, even then i took more than 20mins to decide. and before that was more than a year.
i first saw that pencil in 2008.
i’m very sad, honestly. after thinking so much before i got that pencil, all that came out of it was a couple of minutes using it.
i never wanted to use this word on my blog, but i’m gonna use it now. FUCK!
was having dinner when i heard about what happened to it. totally spoiled my dinner and my mood. gonna emo for quite a while. never been this sad in years. can’t believe what kind of year 2010 is turning out to be.

Yesterdays’ CNY performance in YJC was ok.
After that had the buffet treat by Ms Suryati and Mrs George.

After that, spent some time with shimin. :) Had to buy berms as my mum was kind of furious that i have not bought new berms for CNY. Headed to AMK hub with shimin and bought them at MESSY. $33, so its still kinda ok.

Met sherlyn and headed down to novena to meet aidil before going to siangwei’s house/private getaway/chalet. We are super late. Supposed to meet them at 8pm for dinner but ended up leaving novena mrt at 10.30+. Took a little time to walk over and it was kind of boring to walk for so long.
Bought drinks(non-alocholic, like duh, i’m underage!) and went up to his home. Quite a number were there already.
And the 1st thing someone told me was: Later don’t do anything funny, i’m not wearing my underwear. LOL TTM!
Played majong at a super slow pace. It was like YAWN YAWN! But it got better as we went along.
To cut things short, we did the following:
Listen to ghost stories - It wasn’t too scary but epic lame, as in the story itself. even had to draw mindmaps to make sense of what the story is about. Anyway, shivam epic fail, tried to scare me by jumping out of the toilet but he got nothing he was looking for.
Played Majong - slow sums up everything, i even fell asleep midway through
Sleep - not very pleasant, got 9 mosquito bites. OUCH! But when we went into the aircon room, it was way better.
In the morning, we packed up, and i took the majong table apart. I pulled the tabe top out of its stand. Went for lunch at KFC at Toa Payoh. Headed to Safra to lan after that. Mr TCR was making us play CS with all the random maps. Fun but a uber waste of $. LOLZ!
In all it was fun!

NEW YEAR IS COMING!
I seriously gotta watch what i eat during this (not so) festive season.
NAPFA in early march; BA KUA vs 3 MORE MONTHS OF BMT! :(
Kind of tired, but still have my H3 tutorial to do! Hate drawing Newman projection and Chair conformations! But still ok! H3 is so interesting.
Teachers kind of dropped an atomic bomb today.

Orientation 2010 ROCKS! No matter how others may see it, i think it is still an excellent one to all who put in their truckloads of sweat to help run it smoothly. It will be part of my fondest memories of YJC!

Yesterday went to Fareast with shimin to buy new year clothes. :)
Spent about 3 hours just walking walking and walking but we still couldn’t find anything! KFC-ed for lunch and went to wisma to find my clothes.
Was hoping to get a shirt from Cotton On, it looks quite nice and its only $39.90, BUT BUT BUT all the small sizes have already been bought by others. Nothing appealing at Topman. Then went to GAP! hahas! It was like love at 1st sight. Bought this shirt for $79! SO EXPENSIVE & HALF MY BUDGET GONE :( But it’s ok la. CNY mah! Then walked around but there’s nothing appealing :(
Went back to Fareast again to buy shimin’s dress. And we bought it and HOME SWEET HOME!
I never expect Orientation to be so tough. The planning part was draining and the execution part if super draining. I managed to walk around stations and make sure things don’t go wrong for 2 days! WOW! Time past so fast during Orientation. Especially today, 3 hours of ‘patrolling’ simply flew past.
But, all the crap aside. I just wanna say that….
YJC ORIENTATION 2010 OGLs ARE AWESOME!
IMBA TTM! CAN START SCREAMING AT 7AM. AND STILL SCREAMING AT 6PM DURING DEBRIEF.

YESTERDAY!
It was definitely tiring. Long long day. OGL training in the morning, it was relatively fine. But we got to run 20 rounds. Not around the track but the PE route during rainy days. That works out to about 6km. HAHAS! great training for 2.4km. WELL DONE ALL COUNCILLORS AND HOUSE EXCOS. I was sitting on the benches with my face flat on the table and TEREZA came over.

and i fufilled my promise. HERE IT IS!
Went home after lunch. Sat down on my bed and i lied down. My bed has never felt more comfortable. I was contemplating whether to go out to study with yx, sherlyn, chinrong and aidil. BUT, since i was the one who asked them to go study together, i (felt the responsible to turn up for that session as they would miss my face if i didn’t turn up) went. Studied quite a little. AND around 9+ after dinner. We headed to the arcade for some de-stress.
But i ended up is distress.
SO WORRIED THAT I WILL GET HOOKED TO ARCADE ALL OVER AGAIN, THAT PERIOD WAS FUN BUT I WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN DURING MY ‘A’ LEVEL YEAR!
so i kept myself away from the machines and just looked while the others played. but i did play a game, something similar to tap tap. Just that i was 1000000 times more difficult.
Headed home soon after. Took bus 812. I was so tired and i had to take a bus home. But i ended up reaching my 2nd home. YJC. I OVERSHOT BY 2 STOPS!

Supposed to meet at 10am at WOODLANDS MRT TO STUDY AT WOODLANDS LIBRARY. Woke up at 8am. But went back to sleep and woke up at 10am.

Hahas! the 3rd one was the nicest. because MAN U WON!
But i called Aidil right away. He said that everyone else will be late. LOLZ ttm!

then i went for my bunch and headed there to study while the sweet little one went to chinatown with her family to for breakfast and do her specs. :)
Study session was ok, because i didn’t touch my chemistry at all. :(:(
BUT WE WERE MISSING ONE PERSON: ONG YIN XIAN! (what an ass, ps us)
Coincidentally, wisarut, rosani, denice and derrick were there as well.
Went for lunch with aidil, sherlyn, wisarut and rosani. Chinrong joined us there.
OK THESE POINT IS IMPORTANT!
Going out with the usual study people is dangerous:
- Shirts
- Chinrong and i have 2 shirts that are exactly the same; 1 from levis 1 from punkstar
- Sherlyn wore almost the same combination as me today. Luckily yx not there, if not he sure kill me.
- All better at maths (EXCEPT CHINRONG!), but i just need to start talking benzene, phenol, alkane, alkene, alkynes and awkward silence follows.
Then aidil and sherlyn went off, me and cr were studying until i had a splitting headache. Went to have dinner with wisarut, rosani, denice and derrick.
At Pastamania, were totally out of our minds. SERIOUSLY. DETAILS SHALL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL. BUT HERE ARE THE SUMMARISED POINTS.

OPEN HOUSE was quite ok, maybe i looked at things too negatively. too many events have made me look at individual parts of the planning that could have been done better instead of looking at the bigger picture and the numerous positives that were presented in my face.
i’m tired, happily tired. there are things going on all around me. but i feel occupied. contradicting thoughts fill my mind. when orientation is over, we get to relax; when orientation is over, i will lose the closeness to quite a number of people.

It is indeed a big word. Definitely meaningful. But is it evident. I don’t know why but maybe 9th is just not the best day. It seems to clash with something every single month. Ok, with all other happenings going on. I spent my day doing my articles and i have finally finished it! Studied at CR’s house with the usual people + Siong Koon. It was fruitful, but definitely not enough. Chemistry was kind of ok! Need to memorise the reactions. HATE MEMORIZING CHEMISTRY! Its supposed to be a understanding kind of subject.
